Boidi Piano Duo
Vincenzo Bellini’s belcanto, Nicolò Paganini’s showiness, the poeticism of Fabrizio De André, the infinite desire of research of Archimedes and the hunger for exploration of Christopher Columbus runs in the Boidi Piano Duo veins!
Luciano and Daniele Boidi (class of 1996 and 1997) graduated in piano in 2019, both with 110, Praise and Mention at the Conservatory “A. Casella” in L’Aquila.
After a first solo path they begin to distinguish themselves as Boidi Piano Duo already in 2018 when they receive the “Excellentissimus Prize” intended for national artistic excellences, at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, and in 2019 when they are among the 12 Italian and foreign groups for the Chamber Music section of the Arts Prize.
Winner in national and international competitions, such as – last in chronological order – the Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition (Girona, 2021), the Duo performs both in Italy and abroad for organizations such as the Società dei Concerti (MI), the Amici della Musica of Trapani, Casa de Kamna (Radovljica, SLO), the Festival “Nei Suoni dei Luoghi” (UD), Armonie in Città and CarniArmonie (UD), and many others.
In 2022 he will perform in his first European tour.
Daniele and Luciano Boidi are winners of important international competitions including:

- III Concours International Competitions 2021 “De Bach Au Jazz” – Athens (Greece) – First Absolute Prize, Piano Duo
- Music&Stars Awards “The world shining talent” 2021 – Tallinn (Estonia) – First Prize, Piano Duo
- 3rd WPTA FINLAND International Piano Competition 2021 – Helsinki (Finland) – First Absolute Prize, Piano Duo
- International Competition for Young Musicians – Zagreb 2021 – Zagreb (Croatia) – First Absolute Prize and Special Award for the Best Performance of the Symphonic Poem “Mazeppa” by F. Liszt, Piano Duo
